Hop aboard the City Loop bus, which operates in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions around the Central Business District. Bold red buses and red signposted bus stops mark the route, with popular stops ranging from City Hall and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to Botanical Gardens, Riverside, and the Eagle Street Pier. Venture further via the Spring Hill Loop bus, which runs between the Central Business District and the Spring Hill neighbourhood on a continuous loop. Skip the traffic and take the Airtrain to Central Station—a mere seven-minute walk to W Brisbane. Taxis are also readily available. Once settled, you can access top sites with ease via the city’s free city-centre bus system, which loops around the business district and Spring Hill area. Explore the sights on a rental bike—available 24/7 at CityCycle stations around the city—or stroll on foot.
