The Aquadome – Unhais da Serra Thermal Spa is located in Unhais da Serra, a mountain village that lies on the southwestern slope of Serra da Estrela, in a glacial valley at a height of 750 metres, approximately 20 km from Covilhã.

The Thermal Spa is part of the H2otel/Aquadome, a hotel complex located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, where guests will feel in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. Focusing on healthcare, prevention and wellness.

Located in Unhais da Serra, a village tucked away in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, the H2otel is a newly built mountain hotel whose architectural lines blend in perfectly with the landscape, allowing a close communion with nature. ‘...the image of a big mountain hotel, where traditional elements are featured in a modern context...’ (Architect Jorge Palma, 2004).

The hotel features 90 rooms, including 17 suites and duplex suites, with stunning views of the Alforfa Glacial Valley and the southwestern slope of Serra da Estrela.

Specialising in fine regional and mountain cuisine, the Restaurant also offers vegetarian and light dishes (light meals are prepared specifically for each guest, based on a nutritional assessment conducted as part of the integrated Medical Spa programme).
The hotel also features 1,000 m2 of Congress, Meeting, Banquet and Lounge Rooms, as well as a Lounge Bar with an outdoor seating area, a Gourmet Shop, a Media Centre, a Games Room, and a Gym.
